Dr. Shameel Khan

My goal is to make the dental experience a comfortable and enjoyable one for both children and parents. Reflecting on my own childhood experiences, I came to appreciate how important it is to have a supportive provider – someone who helps children overcome their fears and guides them toward lifelong oral health.

 

I grew up in Toronto’s west end and have always loved working with children and families. From a young age, I knew I wanted a career where I could help kids feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for in a healthcare setting. It’s important to me to be someone families can trust – where parents feel confident their children are receiving thoughtful, high-quality care in a supportive environment.

 

As a board-certified Pediatric Dentist, I have dedicated my career exclusively to the dental care of children from infancy through the teenage years. I have extensive experience working in both hospital and community settings, caring for patients with a wide range of special health care and behavioral needs. I believe that positive dental experiences early in life form the foundation for optimal oral health. My approach is calm and gentle, with a strong emphasis on trust, education, and prevention. I also remain committed to staying up to date with the latest advancements in Pediatric Dentistry to ensure I provide the best possible care for every child.

 

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring Ontario’s natural beauty. After working in the Kitchener-Waterloo community for the past five years, I am proud to open my own clinic and continue serving the families in this area.
